Privacy

To set the icon, the extension needs each tab's address, which is why Chrome warns that it can read your browsing history. It checks that address against a list stored in your browser, and the check never leaves your browser. The list is the same download for everyone.

A company's domain reaches StrataDB only when you open the extension on its site, or when the side panel is open on a site we hold evidence for. Your key stays in your browser and goes only to StrataDB. The extension does not read the pages you visit.

Install

The extension is not in the Chrome Web Store yet, so it installs by hand for now.

1. Download the extension and unzip it.
2. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
3. Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
4. Click the StrataDB icon and paste your API key. Get a free key.
