About StrataDB

StrataDB records which vendors companies use and, more importantly, how we know.

Why it exists

Most tech stack data is a single signal and a guess. A website scan cannot see a company's database, its AI provider or its CRM. But companies often state these things themselves, in subprocessor lists and privacy policies, and in what they ask for in job postings.

How it works

We read those public sources and keep each kind of evidence apart, so you can judge a claim for yourself. Every record carries its source and the date we checked it.

  • A name we publish has to appear in the source text.
  • When we cannot validate a page, we show nothing rather than guess.
  • "We found nothing" and "they use nothing" are different statements, and we never confuse them.

We only read public pages, and our crawler follows robots.txt. Data sources.
